ideal machine for punching applications

that involve a variety of parts and multiple

setups.

The most important feature of MLR is

punching versatility. Different part lengths,

hole sizes, hole positions, end stop

positions, and even part profiles, can all

be punched on a single MLR machine with

only minimal setup time between different

parts. All aspects of setup and changeover

are designed to be user friendly – even

unskilled labour can accomplish them in

only minutes.

MLR systems are available in standard

rail lengths from 2ft to 10ft. Standard 7.5t

and 12.5t Multicyl punching stations are

used and the simple building block concept

allows users to add or remove stations as

required.

Complete with industry standard tooling,

the Multicyl MLR includes the Multicyl

Press-in-a-Box feature, which means that

it is delivered ready to use. Multicyl is

among the safest punching options on the

market, with an MLR system that typically

meets OSHA standards with no additional

guarding or safety features.

If an application requires custom features

to be added to the MLR system, the

company’s engineering team can meet

these requirements.

Offering fast cycle times, some Multicyl

models can complete cycles in 1 second.

Olympus NDT is the manufacturer of

a wide range of manual or automated

inspection solutions featuring innovative

ultrasonic testing (UT), eddy current

(ET), and related nondestructive testing

technologies.

The company is one of the world’s largest

in the field of nondestructive testing with

more than 1,200 employees at various

offices in all major industrial locations in

the world.

Nondestructive testing is a means for

examining the hidden internal structure or

measuring the thickness of parts without

cutting or otherwise damaging them. It

offers important tools for ensuring both

safety and quality control in a wide variety

of industrial, infrastructure, and engineering

applications.

Olympus NDT recently announced the

release of MXE software version 2.0 for

the OmniScan

®

MXE flaw detector. The

OmniScan MXE offers eddy current (EC)

and eddy current array (ECA) technologies

that are predominantly used to detect

surface and subsurface defects in the

metallic structures found in aerospace,

marine, automotive, and manufacturing

applications.

supplies carbon steel and stainless

clamping systems to make pipe-to-pipe,

pipe-to-tee or pipe-to-elbow connections.

Mathey Dearman offers a complete line

of pipefitter’s tools for flange fit-up and

alignment, check pipe or fitting Hi-Lo and

pipe or plate layout. The tools are designed

to precisely layout or verify the critical

alignment of pipe or plate.

Furthermore, the company’s complete line

of ovens are used to rebake or keep the

electrode in a humidity-free environment

until they are consumed in the welding

process. Mathey has a complete line of

portable as well as large ovens to meet

every facet of the customer electrode

rebaking or retention requirements.
