integrated in one head. There is a left and

right bend head, while a four-level bend

tool is fitted for up to four radii. Customised

bend dies enable a short straight distance,

while high bend quality is possible due to

maximal tube coverage.

The machines are very flexible and can

be used for a wide production range and

high volume production. All machines are

equipped with a graphic user interface

called SPOB, based on MS Windows, for

easy operation.

Felss Burger introduced its latest

development at Tube 2008. The MPC

modular production centre, developed for

the A/C and chiller industry, incorporates

end-forming, brazing and CNC bending

centre components.

Used to produce pressure tubes for chiller

compressors, the process sequence consists

of bulging and calibration, mounting of a ring

connector, brazing and bending.

The cycle time of the production system

is only seven seconds. Three machines of

the new CBC combi bending centres are

integrated into the machine system and

work simultaneously.

The system enables wide part spectrum

due to compression, draw and push-roll

bending with up to four bending levels

Felss Burger, Germany, is the manufacturer

of fully automated tube bending and

forming machines, which can be integrated

into transfer lines for tubular parts.

The company’s MEC/CBC transfer

machines are used to produce common-rail

diesel injection lines and other parts. These

machines integrate the processes of end-

forming, nut assembly, measuring, marking

and bending.

The company’s MAC autofrettage system

increases the bursting strength of the

common-rail line by applying a hydraulic

pressure of 8,000 bar.

Tube Technology Update

TeZet offers now geometric modules for

add-on’s on tubes, as flanges, hangers,

banjo fittings or corrugated tubes
