LAMONGST MEMBERS.
The Society's Premises.
On the 14th April, the Four Courts and
the Solicitors' Buildings were taken possession
of by a force of armed men who still remain
in occupation.
Temporary offices for the Secretary of the
Society and his staff have been taken by the
Council at 33 Molesworth Street, Dublin,
First Floor, Rooms 1
and 3.

Half-Yearly General Meeting.
The Half-yearly General Meeting of the
Society will be held at two o'clock p.m., on
Tuesday, 16th May, 1922, at the Molesworth
Hall, Molesworth Street, Dublin.
The
business
to be
transacted
includes
the
nomination of Scrutineers of Ballot
for
Council to be held on 21st November, 1922,
the election of Auditors of the accounts of
the Society, and the consideration of a report
from the Council on a reference adopted by
resolution of the General Meeting held in
November last.
Solicitors' Apprentices Lectures.
The lectures to both the Senior and Junior
Classes of Apprentices are being delivered at
Mills' Hall, 8 Merrion Row, Dublin, on the
dates and at the hours mentioned in last
month's GAZETTE.
Annual Subscriptions.
Members are reminded that their annual
subscription to the Society became due on
the first day of May, as follows :—

Meetings of the Couneil.
April 5th.
Twenty-four Members present.
Reference from General Meeting.
A report was submitted from the Privileges
Committee dealing with a reference to the
Council passed at the Half-yearly General
Meeting of the Society last November. The
Council adopted the report, and it was
resolved to submit it to the General Meeting
of the Society to be held on 16th May, 1922.
The reference to the Council was in the
following terms :—" That the question of
reciprocity between
the Solicitors' pro
fessions in England and Ireland be referred
to the Council for consideration, and that
the Council do report to the May meeting
of the Society, or earlier if it be desirable."
The following is the report adopted by the
Council on this reference :—
" The Council beg to report that in order
" to bring into operation, if agreed upon, the
