RESOURCE
Neighbouring countries often face similar
challenges related to environmental change
in a shared natural area and the impacts
on people and livelihoods. The Zambezi
River Basin has witnessed a drastic change
in its natural environment in recent years
mainly as a result of demographic dynamics,
urbanization and increasing demand
for agricultural land. These drivers have
brought about changes to ecosystems,
water resources and the way different
cultures interact.
