• feeling of choking or smothering

• chest pain

• nausea/upset stomach

• feeling dizzy or light-headed

• derealization (feeling like the world has become unreal)

• depersonalization (feeling detached from yourself)

• fear of losing control

• fear of being “crazy”

• numbness or tingling feeling

• chills or hot flashes

A panic attack doesn’t usually involve all these symptoms at

once. If at least four of them are present, then the episode is

probably a panic attack.
