Moreover, the per capita Gross Domestic Product of the
Emirates is on par with those of leading West European
nations; and it is reasonable in its foreign policy and in the
allocation of its oil revenues.
Given the scenic marvel that is Dubai, these reflections will
not be uppermost in the minds of those fortunate enough to
attend Tube Arabia 2011. But not even the competing views of
the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman will entirely blunt the
sense that this is an exceptionally appropriate choice of venue
for a meeting of wholly pragmatic tube industry professionals.
