leaves

yeast,

it

Then
make
it
up,
and
after
it
has
stood
for
three
months,
bottle
it.
WHORTLEBERRY
OR BILBERRY
WINE
Take
one
and
one-half
gallons
of
cold
soft
water,
one
and
one-half
gallons
cider,
two
gallons
berries.
Ferment.
Mix
five
pounds
sugar,
four-fifths
ounce
tartar
in
fine
powder;
add
four-fifths
ounce
ginger
in
powder,
one-half
handful
lavender
and
rose-
mary
leaves,
one
and
two-thirds
pints
British
spirits.
