APPOINTMENT OF TWO JUDGES OF THE CIRCUIT COURT
Noticc is hereby given that two vacancies exist in the Office
of Ordinary Judge of the Circuit Court and the Minister for
Justice has requested the Board under Section 16 of the Act to
e x e r c i s e its p o w e r s u n d e r t h at s e c t i on a nd to m a k e
recommendations pursuant to it.
P r a c t i s i ng B a r r i s t e rs or S o l i c i t o rs w h o are e l i g i b le for
appointment to the Office and who wish to be considered for
appointment should apply in writing to the Secretary of the
Board, Office of the Chief Justice, Four Courts, Dublin 7, for
a copy of the application form. Completed forms should be
r e t u r n ed to the B o a r d 's S e c r e t a ry on or b e f o re the 8th
November, 1996.
Ap p l i c a t i o ns already ma de in respect of vacancies in the
Office of Ordinary Judge of the Circuit Court will be regarded
as applications for these and all subsequent vacancies in the
Circuit Court unless and until the Ap p l i c a nt s i g n i f i es in
writing to the Board that the application should be withdrawn.
Applicants may at the discretion of the Board be required to
attend for interview.
Canvassing is prohibited.
