Carlisle Interconnect Technologies, a
designer and manufacturer of high
performance wire, cable and optic fiber,
will celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2015.
CarlisleIT began operations as Tensolite
in New York in 1940 and developed a
product portfolio to include specialty
and filtered connectors, contacts, cable
assemblies, complex harnesses, racks,
trays, and installation kits.
In 1960, CarlisleIT became part of Carlisle
Companies Incorporated. CarlisleIT has
continued to enjoy the support of Carlisle,
which provides the financial strength and
resources to allow CarlisleIT to explore
new technologies and opportunities as
they arise.
CarlisleIT’s president, John Berlin, said:
“Being a cornerstone in this industry
for 75 years is truly a remarkable
accomplishment. Our commitment
to excellence and dedication to our
customers’ success have gotten us to
where we are today, and we look forward
to celebrating another 75 years.”
