without which I would probably not
have considered applying, and also true
that in the run up to interviews you
both orchestrated a level of support
that was probably influential.” From a

Prize, to be awarded at the Tramway in
Glasgow on 7th December.
Oakthorpe celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. The house was purchased from private owners in 1994 and was initially
converted into staff accommodation. In 1995, it opened as a House for Upper School girls only under Mrs Anne Brookes, the first
Housemistress, and was extended to become a House for all year groups in 1998. Pictured above are as many Oakthorpe girls as we
could find on a busy Gaudy rehearsal day…
