The wire and cable industry’s attention turns to Atlanta,

Georgia, next month for the biennial Interwire.

Renowned for debuting new machinery and its networking,

Interwire is the largest and oldest exhibition in the Americas

and is featured heavily in this issue of wiredInUSA with more

than 30 pages of exhibitors listingdetails of their involvement.

Thecity’sCongressCenterwill stage the four-dayconvention

and three-day exhibition, organized by the Wire Association

Whilst looking forward may be very much on the minds of

everyone at Interwire, history also features in this issue with

collector Mike Call of Nevada explaining his fascination

with barbed wire. Mr Call, a barbed wire aficionado, talks

about his interest in barbed wire ahead of the Western

Collectibles Show, sponsored by the California-based

Barbed Wire Collectors Association and being staged this
