ot drinks go hand-in-hand with the holidays, but in subtropical New Orleans, when
the air conditioner might be blasting well into December, beverages themselves must
sometimes supply the frost. “Instead of drinking a hot cup of coffee in a cozy sweater,
I thought people might enjoy a cold brew beverage,” says bartender Vivienne Dersin, who created
the drink. Pecan and chocolate add notes of festive flavor. Bottoms up!
