More than 200 people participated in the 2017 Morrisville 9/11 5K

on Sunday, September 10, in remembrance of the Fire, Police, EMS

workers and civilians who lost their lives in the attack on 9/11.

There was a strong volunteer and vendor turnout. The timing

system, which was used for the first time this year, was well received

and will likely be used again in the future.

The event raised nearly $2,500 for the Families of Freedom Scholar-

ship Fund.
