Wounds

without
sewing.
Cleanse

dirt

gravel.
If
much
inflamed,
apply
a
poultice.
If
unhealthy
fungous
granulation
arises,
wash
the
part
with
the
following
mild
caustic
wash,
previous
to

the
tincture:

When
melted
and
well
mixed,
add

pint
turpentine.
Lay
it
on
the
harness
with
a
sponge,
and
polish
off
with
a
brush.
