Dissolve

vitriol

the
rose-water,
and
filter

liquor.

application

watery,
inflamed
eyes.

milk

Boil
on
a
coal
fire,

earthen

covered
;
stir
it
every

minutes
with
a
pine
stick;
let
it
boil
15 minutes;
let
it
stand
until
milk-warm,
then
strain
and
bottle
it
close.
Dose.
—
For
an
adult,
1
tablespoonful
in
the
morning,
sober
;
afterward,
every
3
hours.
Also
eat
every
day
spoonwort
or
water-cresses.
Don't
eat
pork
or
drink
very
sour
vinegar.
