Delisi Srl, Italy, produces automatic
straightening and cutting machines for
smooth and ribbed wires from 1mm to
20mm diameter.
When a new diameter is required, the
grooves of the rolls are positioned,
using a handwheel, at the new dia-
meter. Upon slackening three bolts,
changing the straightening unit and
tightening three bolts, the new diameter
is programmed.
The spinner works at a lower speed,
as the jaws have longer contact with
the wire, resulting in high production
and reduced noise. An electronic
programmer and one or three lines
of pneumatically tilt-able arms can
be supplied with rod collection bed.
99 different lengths and 99 different
quantities can be programmed and
collected separately in one of the lines
of tilt-able arms, without stopping the
machine.
