Agir Technologies has a wide range of
tools for metal forming, from the
simplest wire drawing dies to very
complex dies and punches. Subsidiary
Mouton has more than 50 years’
experience in the design and manu-
facturing of grinding machines and
various machine tools dedicated to the
machining and repairing of tools and
in particular, tungsten carbide wire
drawing dies from 0.10 to 30mm.
Mouton has also developed shaving
machines for ferrous and non-ferrous
wires to offer top-of-the-range wires.
In 2006 Mouton created a new uni-
versal grinding machine, the MU 210,
to repair any shaving die and tool.
As toolmakers, Mouton’s machines
are initially manufactured and then
modified to meet customer require-
ments. They are simple and easy to
use as well as sturdy, ensuring little
maintenance.
Mouton’s range in tungsten carbide
tools for wire and cable manufacturing
and other wire transformation includes
wire drawing dies (round, shaped,
pressure), drawing dies and plugs,
cable extrusion tools, straightening
tools, wire-guides, tools for welding
rods and plated wires. These tools will
be displayed on Booth H24 at wire
South East Asia.
Another subsidiary, Rivom, has
specialised for more than a century in
the design and manufacture of
tungsten carbide tools for metal
forming (heading dies and punches,
extrusion tools, plate-cutting and
ironing tools, compacting tools, etc).
