Intercom Group Ltd is focused on the
wholesale trade, import and re-export
of ferrous metals and glass, and
production of zinc-coated profiles and
processing pipes in Bulgaria and other
EU and CIS countries.
In 2015 the company gained ISO 14001,
18001 and EN 1090 certificates, certified
by DNV GL. Obtaining ISO 14001:2004
demonstrates that the company is
thinking about its environmental impact
and putting in place systems that will
not only benefit the environment but
will also reduce costs and improve
efficiency within the organisation.
OHSAS 18001:2004 certification
concerns health and safety management
systems.
By obtaining this certificate Intercom
Group shows its willingness to develop
and prove how important safety is.
EN 1090-1 shows the company’s
professionalism and quality in steel
constructions.
Intercom Group has two main product
categories: welded steel hollow sections
and seamless steel pipes.
Megaprofil IG, part of the Intercom
group, manufactures round, square and
rectangular hollow sections. Established
in 2006, the company uses the latest
technologies and equipment for pipe
production. Three pipe production lines
cover the ranges Ø 10 to 28 mm, 13.4 to
40mm, and 38 to 127mm. Total monthly
production capacity is greater than
3,000 tons of pipes and hollow sections.
Intercom Group also manufactures
welded casing pipes. The main
production facility in Varna, Bulgaria,
has a total monthly production capacity
of 200 tons.
The manufactured pipes are Ø 280
to 4,000mm, with wall thickness of
4-16mm and maximum length of 12m.
The production technology consists
of cutting steel sheets, bending rolls,
welding and assembly.
The casing pipes have a wide range
of applications, including drainage,
drilling sites, wastewater and rainwater
installations, casing communication and
infrastructure networks, and road and
railway construction.
