OFFENSIVE LINE COACH - JOSHWILLIAMS
CoachWilliams is entering his 5th year as a coach, four of which have been with the
Spartans. Having played at West Georgia before entering law enforcement, Coach
Williams has developed offensive lineman entering the collegiate ranks each year here
at SPHS. It was his experiences in law enforcement that inspired him to get into coach-
ing and satisfy his desire to be a positive influence on young people. Coach himself is
motivated by Bear Bryant’s message, “It’s not the will to win but the will to prepare to
win that makes the difference”. This holds true as Coach has shown a tireless effort to
develop his craft as an offensive line coach. He and his wife Sherie have 3 sons, Cole
a GSU student, Luke 14yrs and a 9th grade player, and Trent 11 years; all of which are
true Spartans through and through. Coach Koester comments that, “Josh is one of the
most impressive young coaches I run across. To develop the craft of coaching offensive
linemen usually takes years, this Josh has done in a short time and continues to grow
his craft and produce winners in his position.”
