Slowly you ride your mount
Along the perimeter
Of Her
Domain,
Slowly you ride, armed and adorned,
Erect and far-seeing,
The lone guardian
Whose sight
May terrify as it may
Ravish and comfort,
Solemn and alert you ride
Tracing the circle of Her
Inner Home,
And in Her Service you bear,
In full view,
Her instruments and emblems,
The signs of Her
