For you are also
The Examiner,
You see the quality
Of the offering,
And accordingly you issue
The clearance
It deserves –
And it is very fine,
It is very safe,
Your loyalty is
The bedrock
Even when all else
Seems
To collapse and
Disintegrate…

Brother Ganesha,
Sun-filled Champion
Of the true,
Prosperous Harmony,
You stand on the edge
Of the way –
Very near to
Its obstacle –
Reminding every one
That obscurity is not
The contrary of light
But its instrument for
Evolution and change –
When this understanding
Is borne in one’s heart,
One may then seek
Your auspicious act
Of protection
And clearance –
Sweet Ganesha,
Her chosen Guard…
