A most beautiful formation
Of dynamic balance,
Self-contained,
Filled with deep-rooted
And pervasive
Knowledge
Of the forms of the universe –
Silent, forceful and generous,
As the ageless Seer and Purohit,
You officiate
From above, from within, from below,
And you yourself become
The form and rhythm
Of the offering…

You bring out this wide power
To restore the balance –
It is an act of knowledge
You have cultivated
Over the ages,
It is why
You must be sought
Before
All new beginnings
And all births –
All stages of the journey –
For without this balance,
There are no fundaments
For the progress
And no base
For adhesion
And perseverance –
You are seated
Before the offering,
With the Lord and the Shakti
Intertwined
In one’s being,
