Firmly
Established on its base,
Anchoring your happy heart
In the earth’s substance,
You safeguard
The very path of progress
With your auspicious,
Benign,
Knowing figure –
Even though men have failed
To maintain clean hearths
And let the earth
Be poisoned
By their greed,
You remain and preserve
The way,
For your loyalty
Is
To the Shakti’s
Aim
And process.
