Sri Ganesh,
Watchful and tender,
The Chosen Knight of the Mother,
You ride here and there and about,
Surveying and gauging,
And the sight of you
Wearing the Shakti’s
Raiments and colors
Is profoundly auspicious –
For you are
Incorruptible,
The steadfast brother
Of all souls,
Whom no force and no power
Can rule
But the Lord’s Delight
