You are the Son of Mahashakti,
And Her Chosen Bearer
And Instrument
To represent Her
Within the Life of Matter –
And today you stand solemn,
With an impassive generosity
Of flowing white light,
Saraswati’s pearly perfection,
The deep rose of Her compassion,
Her flaming love held in
The nest of Her breast,
Not to be released
Till the work
Is done –
But, Sri Ganesh,
Your smile is
A promise…
