Sri Ganesh –
Ambassador of the Will
Of the Mother,
Of Her Self-given
Purpose
In Creation –
Rich and expressive and complete
Is your garb and raiment,
A joyous and generous,
Detailed outpouring –
Nectar and maize
And the light
Of Her Milk
And the Lord’s
Sweetest glow,
Scarves of promise
Trailing about you,
As you deeply dance
The sovereignty
Of Eternal
Conscious
Becoming –
Thus wondrously attired
She sends you forth
So that all souls
May be cheered
On their Way,
Lovely Ganesha…
