THE AMERICAN CLUB
On August 1, The Club hosted its Staff Dinner & Dance 2016
at the Pan Pacific Singapore in signature American Club
pizzazz! It was indeed an affair to remember as our team
enjoyed a sensational night that saw our record highest
number of 352 staff turning up for the Black & White 007
themed event.
Highlights of the evening included two exciting F1 race car
simulators, an amazing line-up of staff talent performances,
lucky draw prizes, and all round energy as the DJ spun
dynamic music through the night. Most importantly, we took
the occasion to acknowledge the commitment and loyalty
of many of our long-serving staff who achieved significant
milestone years of service at The Club. Notably, Executive
Sous Chef Gee Sey Tan received a standing ovation for his
45 years of service with us!
We also honored many other outstanding staff – the
‘Rookie of the Year’ award went to Francis Kuan (Essentials)
while the ‘GM's Award’ went to Lau Kok Foo (Engineering).
Meanwhile, Sun Jialei (Stewarding), Anthony Pabalan
(Front Office) and Mavis Julian (Sports Counter) received
the coveted ‘Employee of the Year’ awards.
We thank all Members for their wonderful support of our
staff engagement initiatives and for acknowledging our
staff’s commitment to the Club community.
