Cherry Middleton recently celebrated
her 25th anniversary with IASA. In
her role as Director of Operations
and Facilities she provides direct
administrative support to IASA Executive Director Dr. Brent
Clark and the IASA Board of Directors. Cherry is also in
charge of office operations and the IASA Annual Conference.
Jodi Gillespie, Office Assistant-
Administrative, is celebrating her
tenth year with IASA. She serves as
assistant to the IASA legal counsel and
provides program assistance with many
association programs.
“We congratulate these two employees
on reaching their important milestones
with IASA,” said Dr. Brent Clark, executive director for IASA.
“Their contributions are invaluable and numerous and I
certainly appreciate their long-time, dedicated careers to
IASA. We look forward to their continued success as valued
members of the IASA team.”

The Illinois Association of School Administrators has
launched the IASA Podcast. The weekly podcast tackles
the most important issues facing public education in Illinois
and provides knowledge and insight from experts about
how to run the best school district possible.
Dr. Jim Rosborg, Director of Master’s in Education at
McKendree University, discusses factors that caused
Illinois’ teacher shortage on the first episode.
