New Cat mini excavator raises the bar
The latest generation Cat 307E meets industry demand for a
robust machine that is high on output and low on operating
costs, particularly when it comes to diesel consumption.
The excavator weights in at around 6 800 kg and is
equipped with the new Cat C2.6 DI Turbo engine, which gen-
erates a gross output of 43 kW. This power plant is matched
with the machine’s load-sensing hydraulic system to provide
excellent digging performance and precise operation in any
application, from fine grading and dozing, to backfilling.
Stick and bucket digging forces are at 37 kN and 50
kN respectively; while maximum reach at ground level is
6 300 mm, with a digging depth to 4 100 mm and dump height
to 5 150 mm. The standard bucket size is 0,31 m3.
Caterpillar’s 307E can also be configured as a front shovel
by turning the bucket around for optimum flexibility. On-site
tasks include utility pipe services, backfilling along walls, and
cleaning material from inside truck beds.
The standard tail swing design incorporates a counterweight that
extends further back on the machine, providing a leverage to
create a stable work platform during lifting and digging.
Mid-range cone crusher offers high capacity
The mid-range Terex® Finlay C-1545 cone crusher offers operators
a high capacity, aggressive cone crusher for the surface ore min-
ing and aggregate industries.
This efficient machine incorporates the new Terex TC1150
cone crusher with direct variable speed clutch drive, automatic
tramp relief and on-the-fly hydraulic adjustable closed side set-
ting (CSS) adjustment.
The large hopper/feeder has an automated metal detection
and purge system to protect the cone and reduce downtime by
removing metal contaminants via the purge chute.
Additional benefits include: rapid set up time, ease of mainte-
nance, high reduction ratio, advanced electronic control system,
high output capacity, and excellent product cubicity.
The new C-1545 cone crusher is the latest addition to the
Terex/Finlay range of tracked mobile cone crushers.
