CRANIAL:

the caudal edge of the

sternoclavicular joint as maximum

CAUDAL

: breast shape still visible

ANTERIOR:

5mm under skin, except for T4b-

d

POSTERIOR:

ventral side of the major

pectoral muscle or ribs/intercostal muscles. In

the caudal part, exclude the subcutaneous fat

from the abdominal wall.

LATERAL

: visible glandular tissue.

The

thoracic vessels can be helpful, but not

imperative to include.

MEDIAL

: lateral to medial mamary branches

(if visible), maximally to the ipsilateral
