Pelvic OARs

Using CHHiP Protocol

• Rectum

– Outlined from anus (at the level of the ischial

tuberosity or 1cm below the lower margin of the

PTV whichever is more inferior) to the recta-

sigmoid junction.

– The R-S junction is usually on the axial CT slice

where the rectum turns anteriorly and to the left

– Usually a length of 10-12 cm
