On behalf of our client, Donnington New Homes, you are invited to attend a
consultation event to view our draft plans for the development of land at New
Warren Farm and Sanfoin. Our proposal comprises up to 450 new homes, a
primary school, a children’s drop-off parking facility, an indoor play facility for
Swings and Smiles, access from Warren Road and emergency access from
Kendrick Road, green infrastructure, pedestrian and cycle links, sustainable
drainage and other infrastructure required for the development.
The purpose of the public consultation is to provide you, as a local resident, with

The event is an informal event being held at Newbury Rugby Club, Monks Lane,
Newbury RG14 7RW in the afternoon and evening of Thursday 18th May 2017

M4 MOTORWAY HERMITAGE CYCLE TRACK
SECTION 18 ORDER
Notice is hereby given that Highways England Company
Limited has made an order on 25th May 2016 on the
M4 Motorway in West Berkshire, under section 18 of the
Highways Act 1980 to stop up highway previously comprising
motorway verge and with special road status to allow the
lawful passage of cycles, pedestrians and equestrians.
The effect of the Order is to stop up an area of motorway
verge between junction 12 and 13 and at the foot of the
embankment at the northern end of Hermitage village,
carrying the M4 over natural ground level. The order does
not affect the operation of the motorway.
This measure would be in the interests of road safety,
recreation, healthy journeys and connected communities
to create a combined cycle track and bridleway
connecting Hermitage to Hampstead Norreys.
This notice was not published at the time of making the
order due to an operational omission. The notice is now
being published following the procedure in Schedules
1 and 2 to the Highways Act 1980. The order came into
force on 25th May 2016.

viewed at any reasonable time at the address below by
using the contact details below until 9th June 2017

M4 MOTORWAY – JUNCTIONS 12 – 13

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
Notice is hereby given that Highways England Company
Limited(
a
) intends to vary Highways England Order 2017
No.167 (The M4 Motorway (Junctions 12 - 13) (Temporary
Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017) originally made on
6 February 2017, under Section 14(1)(a) and Paragraph
27(1) of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the variation would be to re-define the
lengths of carriageway affected by the 50mph speed limit,
namely to impose a 24-hour 50mph speed limit between
points 1000 metres west of Scratchface Lane overbridge
and 1000 metres east of the A340 overbridge on both
carriageways of the M4.
This measure would be to enable the enforcement of the
imposition of the limit through the works.
This variation would come into force at 00:01 hours on
Saturday 3rd June 2017.
