he 2014 Conference Planning Committee (CPC)

is pleased to announce their second keynote

speaker:

Dr Susan Langmore, Ph.D,

CCC-SLP, BRS-S

Susan is Professor of

Otolaryngology at Boston University

Medical Center and Speech

Language and Hearing Sciences

at Boston University, where she

teaches dysphagia, motor speech

disorders, and mentors masters

and doctoral students. She is

Director of Speech Language Pathology Services at Boston

Medical Center where she also maintains an active clinic

caseload.

Dr Langmore is most widely known for developing the FEES

procedure to evaluate dysphagia. She lectures throughout

the US and internationally. Susan has maintained an active

research program for several years. She is a fellow of ASHA

and was given the Honours of the Association in 2012.

Call for Papers

The closing date has passed and the reviewers are busy

grading each abstract. The CPC would like to thank everyone

who submitted an abstract and every effort will be made to

include as many as possible into the Conference program.

night will be held at Eureka

89. One of the features

of the evening will be the

opportunity for

four

lucky

the ‘Observation Deck’,

Conference, we will include

members who answer it

correctly will go into the
