Women's Tourney

In Finals

DECATUR - East Mississippi's Lady Lions were

to

take on

Holmes Junior College today at 3 p.m. in the championship

finals

of the East Central Women 's Invitational Basketball

Tournament.

East Central met Gulf Coast at 1:30 in the consolation game.

In Monday's games, East Mississippi beat Gulf Coast, 75-62,

while Holmes knocked off host East Central,

84-64.

Five Lady Lions scored in double figures. Debra Burrage

hit

for 19, Rose Dooley 16, Angela Scott 15 and Felicia Ashford and

Wanda Wilson had 10 each.

Gulf Coast was led by Daisy Casher with 19.

Maggie Barrow led Holmes

to

its

win

with 26 big points while

East Central was paced by

Ann

Earnest with 15, Pam Lolsfam 14

and Sheila Welch with 13.

The finals were played today at 3 p.m.
