New development from FUR
FUR Wickeltechnologie’s new wire de-reeler UWM/ATM 2007
is a further development of the type which is currently being
used worldwide.
This newly designed wire de-reeler unit comes into operation
for versatile winding tasks in the wire, cable and steel industry.
The biggest application area for this equipment is the hydraulic
hose and heating element industry.

as conic flanges, is
possible without
any problems. A
new deployed servo
motor concept for
the main drives and
laying guarantee a
low-noise and low-
vibration run of the
machine and an
exceedingly precise
layer pitch.
The control panel is a touch screen display. The machine will
stop automatically at wire break or wire ends.
High quality coils can be produced even at a very high
rewinding speed of more than 10m/sec because of the length-
measure-device, the laser-flange-scan during the rewinding
process and, last but not least, because of the high-precision
controlled de-reeler-brake-system
The UWM/ATM is designed in modular construction making it
possible to employ other de-reeler devices of the FUR brand.
