Continuous slip wet

wire drawing

MPI, India, manufactures continuous slip

wet wire drawing machines for drawing

aluminium and copper wire in one

process, at up to 25m/sec.

The machines consist of pay off, main

machine, bobbin spooler/dual spooler

using high quality rolled steel sections

and structural steel.

The machines have 12 capstans inside

and one final capstan shaft outside

the machine.

Each capstan has one die block, and the

detachable capstan rings are made of

HCHC steel/ceramic/specially coated alloy

steel to ensure high wear resistance and

The company has recently supplied

machines of this type to several Indian

companies, and has also exported

machines to Europe, Southern Asia and

Middle-East Asia.

MPI has a wide range of cable and

conductor machines including rigid

and planetary stranders, drum twister
