Phi Kappa Theta begins its second generation of
leadership in the national scene. Locally, for 29
years, Phi Kappa Theta has held a unique relation–
ship with USD. Ever since the California Phi Delta
Chapter was instituted as the 1st fraternity on
campus back in 1961, Phi Kaps have been active in
all phases of campus life. The brothers of Phi Kappa
Theta strive to continually better themselves
through athletics, community service, and academ–
ics. Building on a firm foundation of leadership and
brotherhood, Phi Kaps have an unparalleled tradi–
tion on campus.
Realizing that there is more to life than just
academics, our social calendar has provided every–
thing to do under the California sun and the San
Diego Highlife. Some of the things done are Club
Med, USD Volleyball Tournament, Fathers Week–
end, Rosarito Weekend, California Phi Kappa Theta
Convention, all this in the fall. The adventure con–
tinues in the spring with Auggie Day, Toga Party,
Casino Night, Lake Havasu Road Trip, and culmi–
nating with the Founders Day Ball which celebrates
the charter date of Phi Kappa Theta at USD.
Phi Kappa Theta wants to thank the USD com–
munity for its support. Phi Kappa Theta hopes to
contribute what it can to collegiate life. As you can
see Phi Kappa Theta takes pride in what we do:
BROTHERHOOD, FAITH, FRIENDSHIP, LOYALTY,
AND RESPECT plus a proud history.
The brothers of Phi Kappa Theta would like to
give a fond farewell to our Auggie Club. Thanks for
all the great times during the years. Even though
you are no longer a club, we can continue to have
good times in the future. Thanks again! Love the
brothers of Phi Kappa Theta.
