THE supervisory board and management
board of Sikora have decided upon the
restructuring of the company. From1 January
2011 Harald Sikora, chairman and head of
the R&D department at Sikora, withdrew
from the operational business in order to
pave the way for the next generation.
Mr Sikora has moved to the newly
founded Sikora Holding GmbH & Co KG.
Mrs Bernadette Sikora is also appointed
to the Holding and is responsible for the
business areas finances and controlling.
Harald Sikora will support the company
as consultant. His successor is Harry Prunk,
present member of the board of SikoraAG. As
chairman, Mr Prunk takes over the manage-
ment of the company with the business
areas production, service, purchasing, sales,
marketing, and research and development.
Dr Siegmar Lampe, previously deputy
director of development under Harald
Sikora, is appointed director of the R&D
department.

for Boltjes
BOLTJES specialises in bending, forming
and assembly of tubes in 2D and 3D. The
company processes steel, stainless steel,
copper and aluminium tubes, and can also
assemble products through welding and
soldering. Boltjes offers various finishes,
such as galvanising or powder coating.
Its core business is the deforming and
assembling of tubes for leading companies
in the automotive, medical and heating and
cooling industry.
The company has announced that it
has obtained TS 16949 certification in its
continuous effort of improving quality of the
business process.
ISO/TS 16949, an international standard
for suppliers of car manufacturers, was
developed because there was a need
for a comprehensive and internationally
recognised quality directive. As with ISO
9001:2000, the overall objective is the
introduction of process thinking, so the
quality of the business develops. The
ISO/TS certification defines the require-
ments for quality management systems
related to design, development, production
and, where applicable, installation and
servicing of automotive related products.
The company’s sales and logistics office
for Western Europe is located in Ermelo
in the Netherlands, and it also has a sales
office in Ukraine. Production is carried out at
a factory in the Czech Republic.
