SKILL 12 – Tilt Position

Inform patient of the procedure. Place the patient and
chair directly in front of you. Place foot on tilt bar.
Place foot on tilt bar. Push down on tilt bar and pull back on
handles until the chair is balanced on the rear wheel. You should
be able to support the chair in this position with minimal effort.
