Distribution deal for abrasion tester
Inhol BV in The Netherlands recently signed an
exclusive sales and service agreement with its
Swedish counterpart, TVAB International, for the sales
and distribution of the TVAB 5420 N scrape abrasion
tester.
Inhol BV will be responsible for all sales and service
contracts from the field, and also for those units
already earlier sold by TVAB.
The purpose of the cooperation is to increase support
to customers and to raise awareness of the test
device in the international wire and cable market.
Jacob Steendam of Inhol BV, explained: “Hundreds of
units have already been sold by TVAB over the past
years. The TVAB abrasion test apparatus is so precise
that it has set the abrasion standards for ISO 6722-1.
“It has been designed to test the durability of 60V and
600V single-core cables under extreme conditions,
and it measures very specific abrasion durability
variables.”
