Mr. Peter Jones, Solicitor, has recently been appointed State
Solicitor for Westmeath. A native of Dublin, Mr. Jones qualified as
a solicitor in 1 9 8 0 and has worked in Mullingar since 1 9 82 with
the firm of J. A. Shaw & Co. In 1 9 8 8 he established a new practice
with David Walsh, Solicitor.

a law-related topic while studying journalism at Rathmines in 1 9 8 2,
has since gone on to establish herself as a successful journalist, now
feature writer with the
Sunday Press.
She recently won the AT Cross

Confederation Fiscale Europeenne, which is the umbrella body for
all taxation institutes in the EEC. Mr. Johnston is a member of The
