5 tbsp butter

2 tbsp pine nuts

1 cup sugar

2 cups milk

Place flour, butter and pine nuts on low heat. Stir

constantly until they turn a brownish color. Change arms or

pass the job to someone else, but stir constantly or you will

end up with flour balls! Beware, this will take a while!

In a different pot, boil sugar and milk to make syrup.

When the flour mixture goes golden brown, pour the syrup

slowly and stir until evenly soaked. It will get harder to stir!

Take the pot off the stove, cover and let sit for 10 minutes.

Scoop halva onto plates with a spoon, serve and enjoy with

a cup of tea.
