Beit Issie Shapiro is Israel’s leading innovator in the care and treatment of children with disabilities. Over
the years, Beit Issie Shapiro has pioneered:
Israel’s FIRST Early Intervention Center •
Israel’s FIRST inclusive and accessible playground for children with and without disabilities •
Israel’s FIRST and largest hydrotherapy program for children with developmental and physical •
disabilities
The world’s FIRST Snoezelen multi-sensory environment for children with autism and other sensory •
issues.
We believe not only in caring for each child individually, but in providing essential support to families,
as well as and partnership with communities and allies from different sectors. In this way, we can
build a more inclusive society which assures the rights and opportunities for maximum growth and
development of children and adults with diverse abilities.
With centers in Ra’anana and Kalansua, our innovations and state-of-the-art services are used as models
throughout the world. We share knowledge through research and training, and collaborate with
professionals in Israel and internationally.
