PS COSTRUZIONI’S automatic double take-up Type PS
1250 DS has been designed and built to work in line with
extrusion lines.
The machine consists of a single frame, inside which are
two take-ups and one wire guide.
A few metres before the end of reel one (the full reel) is the
winding up process. The wire-guide starts moving to reel
two (the empty reel).
After having reached the pre-set length, the cable is
automatically cut and hooked to reel two (empty reel), and it
starts the winding up process of the empty reel. The cutting
and hooking processes take place without slowing down
the extruder speed and without any need for an
accumulator.
Technical details:
• Reel flange diameter from 1,000mm to 1,250mm
• Cable diameter from 1mm to 10mm
• Max double take up speed: 1,200-1,500mt/min,
according to the reel and cable diameter
