turnkey projects with a tunnel-type
continuous automatic wire pickling
processing line with 30,000 tons
per month capacity. It provides
wire rod pickling processing
solutions to meet the demanding
criteria for automation and
pollution control.
The pickling line is a special design
close tunnel to minimise the
exhaustion of corrosive fumes and
maximise isolation to the out-
side environment and operators,
resulting in a cleaner environment
and safe working conditions.
Throughout the entire tunnel, the
required treatment and time can
be controlled either automatically
or manually for each type of
material grade and type using the
PLC-controlled system.
The PLC system will monitor
multiple cranes to transport
material automatically through the
necessary treatment steps through
various chemical baths. For that
reason, the final surface quality is
high, with less chemical and fresh
water consumption.

Woywod Kunststoffmaschinen is
introducing a new four-litre
weighing hopper (TRW 4L) for the
processing of quantities up to
approximately 80kg/h.
This new compact and low-cost
weighing hopper is in addition to
the existing weighing hoppers and
“Loss-in-Weight” systems.
The unit is designed for granular,
free-flowing materials, and
regrinds and can be used in all
areas of the plastic processing.
The newly developed weighing
hopper fits perfectly in the
Plasticolor modular system, like all
other pieces of the equipment.
It is therefore also possible to
upgrade existing equipment.
Three different versions are
available:
• The new Plasticolor TRW 4L
weighing hopper can also be
used as assembly in Plasticolor
gravimetric mixing stations and
gravimetric dosing stations
