Sourcing and supplying materials
Pipeline Source and Supply Ltd was
established by Tracy Office, following
the voluntary liquidation of her previous
employer, Offshore Pipeline Solutions
Ltd (OPS).
Faced with redundancy, Miss Office
started her own company, doing exactly
what she had been doing for the last ten
years: sourcing and supplying material
for the global oil, gas, petrochemical,
conversion, energy and shipbuilding
industries. Having been involved in all
aspects of business at OPS, she felt
well placed to take on the challenge of
self employment.
The business has already completed
a number of orders, shipping goods
around the world, and has also
diversified from the supply of materials,
forging a relationship with a fabrication
company in order to widen its scope.
“I have received a great deal of positivity
from clients and suppliers alike since
starting this venture, and that has been
a great boost to confidence,” said Miss
Office.
"The challenges I have faced have
been the same as any new company:
establishing a reputation, getting your
name known and, of course, cash flow
and credit accounts.”
Pipeline Source and Supply Ltd has
launched a new website that provides
information on the company’s scope of
supply. Its core business is the supply of
various grades and sizes of steel pipe,
fittings, flanges, bolts and gaskets, from
standard carbon and stainless to the more
exotic alloys. All material is purchased or
manufactured from reputable sources,
with certification to EN10204/3.1 or 3.2
certification where required. Third party
inspections and additional testing can
also be arranged, if necessary.
The company is not limited by holding
stock, so the material range is wide and
varied. Long-standing relationships with
manufacturers and stockists worldwide
mean that Pipeline Source & Supply
can help solve procurement problems,
particularly where items may be difficult
to source or ‘specials’. The company
can supply single items through to full
project packages.
