featured in our UK and European tours that have successfully operated for 40 years.

Our innovative new tours to

Australia, the USA and India

include excellent standards of

hotel accommodation, unique tailor-made rail itineraries and are all fully escorted by our

experienced Tour Managers.

As well as new worldwide tours in 2020 Railtrail are also offering wonderful new European

tours including new Grand Tours by Rail. Our exclusive and limited-edition

programme continues to go from strength to strength with two new

tours added for 2020. The

Imperial Cities

features the vibrancy of Berlin, beauty of Dresden, Bohemian Prague and the grandeur of

Vienna, this wonderful tour has it all! Our new

Scandinavian Capitals

tour includes visits Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm combined

with fantastic heritage railways, steamships and palaces.

We have developed a very successful range of

Classic European tours

over the years and for 2020 we have two new European

tours; one to

Lake Garda

visiting beautiful lakeside towns, romantic Verona and the fascinating island city of Venice and another

to the spectacular fireworks event

‘Rhine in Flames’

based in Remagen, including journeys on Germany’s oldest rack railway and the

Vulkan Express.

Our

Classic European Tours

depart from London St. Pancras International where you will

meet your Tour Manager and board your high-speed Eurostar train to the continent. For almost

all our Continental European tours we meet at the ‘Railtrail Meeting Point’ – Searcys St Pancras

Champagne Bar, where your Tour Manager will be on hand to greet you with a welcome drink

and snack.

For the first time in 2020 all our European and Worldwide tours are also available at a

‘Join

& Leave at Hotels’

fare. The reduced fares allow the flexibility to travel by air or travel

independently by rail and meet the group and Tour Manager at the hotel.
