One of the fastest-growing transoceanic routes has received
a $500m shot in the arm with the news that Partners Group is
investing in the construction of Seabras-1 project – the first direct
subsea fiber optic cable between New York, USA, and São
Paulo, Brazil.
The link, expected to be operational within two years, has

String manufacturer D'Addario is hitting the right note after
introducing New York Steel to its EXP acoustic strings and banjo
sets. The company has re-engineered the wire drawing and
manufacturing process into a new steel wire mill adjacent to its
