maximize the tube service
life.
This
is
evident
by
our
uniquely
shaped,
heavy mass tips,
which
have
been
proven in the field for
years.
Prior
to
shipment, each tube
goes
thru our
Hydro-Pneumatic testing
to
check
for
porosity.
Protection
tubes
are
typically
made
with
a closed
tip
and one
thread
on
the cold end,
but
they are
also available
with open ends
and
various threading
options.
Maximum service
temperature
2300'F
(1
260'C)
in
low
stress, oxidizing
atmospheres.
Best
used over
1750"F (955'C)
and up
to
2400'F (1315'C)
for short
term.
Excellent resistance
to
carburization,
nitrid

ng, and
Chlorine attack.
