Deferred Sentence

Click the
<Sentencing>
button.
B.
Select the appropriate charge(s) to be updated.
C.
Click the
<Confinement Conditions>
button and select the
blank option.
D.
Enter “DEFT TO START SENTENCE UPON ARREST” and
click
<OK>.
E.
Verify the Sentence Recap for accuracy.
F.
Click
<OK>
to exit the Sentencing Screen.
G.
Click the
<Bonds & Warrants>
button.
H.
Create the appropriate Capias/Warrant as directed by the court.
Refer to
section of the guide.
I.
Click the
<Deferred Sentencing>
button. Notice that the
charge related fees are removed from the In Court Recap and
the main ICP grid. If the PD App Fee was assessed, this fee
will remain.
J.
Click the
<Other Docketing>
button to include information
not accommodated by an action button.
K.
Click
<OK>
to exit the Other Docketing screen.
L.
Ensure the updates reflect correctly in the
Criminal In Court
Recap
screen.
M.
Click the
<Case Completed>
button to complete the case.
N.
Complete the Capias/Warrant documents accordingly.
